How to Participate
The Downtown Eugene Holiday Night Out is Saturday, December 7th, from 4-8pm. The event hours will include sponsored transportation around downtown, programming at the Farmers Market Pavilion, extended hours and seating at the food carts at Kesey Square, and more!
The minimum we ask of downtown business owners is to join us by staying open late for the Holiday Night Out. Programming will run until 8pm, and you’re encouraged to be here until then, or later if it makes sense for you!
To really lean into the event, it’s important to activate your space with a unique holiday experience. Please let us know what festive event will be happening at your business below! Scroll further for some ideas if you aren’t sure how to participate.
If, for some reason, you are unable to be open, please still make every effort to make your storefront or building festive with decorations, lights, window displays and more.
Please visit the event page for a full list of businesses that are already participating!

Whether you’ll simply be open for the event’s duration or if you’re hosting a fun event or one-night-only specials, please let us know so that we can include your event in promotional materials.
Restaurant Holiday Bites / Tour
We want to make sure our restaurant partners can get in on the fun this evening. Obviously, many restaurants will already be packed with folks and/or hosting corporate holiday parties, so additional festivities may be difficult to schedule.
We’re lining up a few restaurants/cafes/bakeries lined up to offer a holiday restaurant tour as a way to encourage downtown guests to venture all across downtown for the evening. Each stop on the tour will offer a holiday-themed item that is a bit more small bites / grab-and-go than their traditional menu. This treat should be accompanied by a recipe card for that item so guests can make it for their own holiday party, or, if the dish/drink you want to serve is a bit of a “house specialty” that you’d rather a customer purchase for their own holiday party, a recipe card may be for a different dish that would accompany your dish well.
We’ll call out participating restaurants specially, and we can also help make your recipe cards happen. Fill out the form above to take part in the restaurant tour.
Confirmed participants include:
- Fig & Bean
- High Street Tonics
