We conclude our 2024 Shedd Theatricals season with Oliver!, Lionel Bart’s 1960 musical theatre masterpiece based on Charles Dickens’ 1838 novel, Oliver Twist. The Tony, Olivier and Academy Award-winning show is a heartwarming, uplifting story of the triumph of the human spirit over the darkest moments of the human condition absolutely bursting with memorable songs, including “Food, Glorious Food”, “Consider Yourself”, “You’ve Got to Pick a Pocket or Two,” “Where is Love?”, and “It’s A Fine Life”
