Over the past 15 years Siri Vik has dug deep (brilliantly we would say) into the work of many of the 20th century’s great female vocalists, jazz and otherwise: Billy Holiday, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, Anita O’Day, Sarah Vaughn, Abbey Lincoln, Lena Horne, Judy Garland, Blossom Dearie and so many more. Tonight, she returns to these masters with a fine and varied selection.
