Eugene Hotel Retirement’s Annual Holiday Bazaar

The Eugene Hotel Retirement Lobby will be transformed into a traditional holiday marketplace on Saturday, December 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Open to the public, the annual Eugene Hotel Retirement Holiday Bazaar will feature a wide selection of hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind items from our own Retirement residents, some local artists and other outside vendors. Repurposed jewelry, vintage clothing, hand-made gift items, Christmas decorations and ornaments, baked goods, cards, and much, much more will be available. Our historic retirement facility will glow with beautiful holiday decorations. Visitors can also visit our second-hand shop, Treasures from the Attic, located in the Dining Room to find artwork, second-hand furniture and small antique pieces.
Visitors to Eugene Hotel Retirement’s Holiday Bazaar will be participating in a tradition going back hundreds of years. The December market in old Vienna was a kind of forerunner of the modern day Christmas market and dates back to 1294.
