An Evening for Animals is Greenhill’s largest, most important fundraiser of the year. Greenhill relies upon funds raised at the auction to support medical, behavioral, and daily care of animals in the shelter. Each ticket includes passed appetizers, dinner, hosted bar, and a fantastic opportunity to help the animals in our community and the people who love them. The evening includes a silent auction, live auction, and dessert dash. Because Greenhill is an animal friendly organization, the menu has been designed to please your taste buds and extend compassion to animals.
Can’t attend, but want to support the animals and still bid on auction items? You can! This hybrid event allows you to bid on many of the items from the comfort of your home. Exciting auction items will be available soon!

Every purchase goes directly to helping animals and people in our community. Over 3,000 animals each year need safe housing, nutritious food, medical care, and enrichment. Whether they are in Greenhill’s care because they are lost, abandoned, or require safe boarding, every animal receives all the loving attention they need for as long as they need. This includes extensive medical care and behavioral training for animals who need extra help before being adopted.
In addition to the direct support of animals, Greenhill also helps people in our community. Their crisis-care program provides safe boarding for animals while their owners recover from a housing, medical, or other crisis. Their assistance programs provide pet food, supplies, and low-cost spay/neuter services including a trap-neuter-return program for free-roaming cats.
Your purchases and donations will also help support Greenhill’s humane education program which teaches compassion and respect for all animals; ensuring that our next generation shares our passion and commitment to caring for animals.
