The Kesey Square Christmas tree is backed into the square on a trailer pulled by a pickup truck while Sierra Pacific and Eugene Chamber employees look on.

The Kesey Square Christmas tree arrived Wednesday morning, December 3rd! A 30′ grand fir, this tree stands in Downtown Eugene as a symbol of festive cheer and community collaboration, signaling the start of the holiday season in Eugene.

The lights will officially turn on as part of the Holiday Night Out event, Friday, December 5th at 6:30pm.

Thanks to Sierra Pacific Industries, EWEB, and many other community partners for making this happen each year.

Lookout Eugene-Springfield has the scoop.
