    The city council met December 12, 2007 and made a clear choice between two designs, and the public gave additional feedback via comments collected at holiday events around town. Now, the design team is back at work getting ready to show the public the vision we have created together at a final Community Forum. We need your input to see if we are on track with the design concept for the “People’s House” that belongs in Eugene.

  • About Downtown Eugene Inc.

    Downtown Eugene, Inc. (DEI) is a not-for-profit association of downtown property and business owners. Formed in 1988, DEI’s primary interest is in the long-term economic health of the downtown core. DEI pursues this interest by advocating for public policy changes (such as the reopening of the downtown mall and downtown development incentives), supporting community policing public safety programs (including the Downtown Guides security patrol) and building partnerships with other organizations that are concerned with downtown vitality. The mission of Downtown Eugene Inc. is to represent the interests of its members to create and maintain a safe, clean and economically viable city center.

  • Downtown Eugene Brand Plan

    Downtown Eugene, Inc. (DEI) is taking the lead in a collaborative effort to brand Downtown Eugene as the “Arts and Entertainment Epicenter of the Region.” In coordination with the City’s theme of “World’s Greatest City of the Arts and Outdoors,” the brand will be launched this summer with a continuing marketing and public relations program.
